Dec 3, 2016 - What is the best replacement for HyperTerminal Windows XP HyperTerminal? I don't want or need a free one full of adware. I work at a place were men don't. VT100-VT240 (a.k.a. Telnet) Server, create your own modules and add them in and you can customize the program. Modules can be BBSs, Library systems, etc. Anything you have dialed into using HyperTerminal or Telnet before. Is there any replacement program for HyperTerminal for Windows XP, to work same stuff ?My hyperterminal in communications is empty ( don't know why and I don't have installation CD for xp anymore ). Please help

PuTTY is a free alternative to HyperTerminal.
Another free alternative is Tera Term.
As a replacement for HyperTerminal, I can suggest RealTerm (http://realterm.sourceforge.net/), but you can't use it for dialing Modems or BBS Systems. (Read on the Homepage)
